2. I don’t think this is my favorite type of artwork but it is very interesting to analyze.  I think this shows that people now a days take sports so seriously that it’s almost a religion for them.  That instead of putting a picture in their house of their god or something representing their religion they have athletes instead.

This is a song that came upon me

And battles

Choosing when the rhythm warms
Battle at these shakedowns

Then our allies grew
Wherever we would roam
See whenever we’re together

1. “Our guns, we shot them in the things we said, oh we didn’t need no bullets cos we rely on some words instead.  Kill someone in argument, outwit them with our brains, and we’d kill ourselves laughing at the funny things we’d say.”  I think this is poetic because it conveys a good message to the audience.  It talks about defeating someone in a non-violent way.  That instead of using guns to literally kill someone you have the power to beat them with your mind.

2. “We never yielded to conformity but stood like kings, in a chariot that’s riding on a record wheel.”  This is poetic because it shows individuality.  Instead of just being like everybody else you can see yourself as being truly unique (like a king).

3. “Then our allies grew wherever we would roam, see whenever we’re together any stranger feel at home.”  This is poetic because it rhymes and it also tells about a sense of unity and togetherness.  It shows how if you have a good time and treat others good then they will enjoy being around you and become your “ally”.  

I love these lyrics because they are so peaceful and have a strong sense against war and weapons. 

1. I love this form of art.  As long as it’s in good taste.  I think Banksy really expresses himself through it.  Even when some people have the same opinions as him he takes the risk of “publishing” his opinions for others to see.  I agree with most of his works and especially like the one done on the Isreali/Palestinian Separation wall.  It show how people don’t have the freedom to come and go as they please because of the wall.

2. I think that graffiti is art because my definition of art is how someone expresses their thoughts and feelings and for some people, graffiti is the only way they know how to express themselves.  I think people sometimes have to go with alternate names as some kind of a safety net because there are always people that disagree with others views and how they express themselves.

3. I think that if you want to put your work in the public you should be able to as long as it doesn’t offend anyone.  People have the right to express their feelings.  As long as it’s thought out and and something you very much believe in, not just some bad words that someone put up because they were angry.

the lovely arboretum

This is an image i took while at the arboretum with my sister.  I like this picture because it’s a really cool view of nature and my sister added some sort of accent to make it look a little more dramatic.  This shows that nature can be interesting if you look at it from the right angle and in the right light.  This picture is personally meaningful for me because it brings back the fun memories of my sister and i at the arboretum.
